Dining Options

Guests can dine at Restaurant Julen or Restaurant Alpenhof, both part of the Tradition Julen group. Restaurant Julen serves Valaisian specialties, fish, and burgers, while Restaurant Alpenhof focuses on international cuisine. Breakfast includes homemade birch muesli, Swiss cheeses, and freshly prepared egg dishes. Half-board guests enjoy a daily 5-course menu with vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options. Tea Time offers complimentary cakes, coffee, and tea from 4 to 5 PM.

Wellness & Activities

Guests have access to the Julen SPA (100 meters away), featuring a saltwater pool, Finnish sauna, and fitness room. The Alpenhof SPA includes an outdoor whirlpool and steam baths. A helicopter tour over the Matterhorn and visits to a black-nosed sheep farm are available. The hotel provides free entry to both spas.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Zermatt's cable cars and the Matterhorn Museum. The car-free village center, with shops and restaurants, is nearby. A complimentary e-taxi transfer from Zermatt's train station is provided on arrival and departure days. The Gornergrat Railway and Glacier Ride offer access to high-altitude viewpoints. Sion Airport is 80 km away.
